Academics

E-2 is a very dedicated outfit when it comes to academics. We have a strong program of upperclassmen in a wide range of majors to assist in tutoring, mentoring, and even helping lowerclassmen register for classes.

Freshman in E-2 have the highest expectations, as their grades from that year set them on a path for the next four years. To help the freshman meet these expectations, several things have been implemented into their daily lives. The program called Call to Quarters is the time allotted ever academic night as a required quiet study period. This ensures that cadets have ample amount of study time and the opportunity to approach upperclassmen for questions.

The opportunities for academic success are apparent in the awards that E-2 has won in the previous years. This past year, over half of the freshman cadets in E-2 attained a GPR of over 3.0! The typical average GPR on campus is roughly a 2.67. Numerous of these cadets earned and maintained a 4.0 throughout their freshman year in the corps which is no small feat.
