Reveille VIII, also known as “Rev,” is the First Lady of Texas A&M. She is the only cadet with five diamonds which makes her the highest ranking member in the Corps of Cadets. She was born May 23rd 2006 in Topeka, Kansas. Reveille lives with Company E-2 in the Corps dormitories where a sophomore cadet with the title, “Mascot Corporal” is charged with the responsibilty of being her caretaker for a full year. This is one of the most prestigious positions to hold in the Corps of Cadets, as it is a very prominent image for Texas A&M University.

Reveille Traditions: If she barks in class it means she is bored and the professor should dismiss the class. Also, if she decides to sleep on a cadets bed, the cadet has to sleep on the floor or find somewhere else to sleep. Needless to say, she is treated with the utmost respect across campus.

Where Can I See Reveille On Campus?
Reveille is always accompanied by the Mascot Corporal or another cadet from Company E-2. Because Reveille sleeps in the dormitory, you can usually catch her in between classes near the corps dorms located on the south side of campus. She attends all home football games and several away games. She is also a very popular guest at many other social events around campus. If you do find her on campus, feel free to ask for a picture with her.
